Breckenridge Wedding for Robyn & Joe

A June wedding is suppose to be filled with sunshine so Robyn and Joe brought their own sunshine when Mother Nature decided the Breckenridge mountains needed some rain. The outdoor event at Grand Timber Lodge was moved inside for a love filled ceremony and the reception at Beaver Run Resort was filled with laughter. Evergreen, Colorado Home Wedding for John & Michelle

This past season we photographed a most amazing in-home wedding n Evergreen, Colorado for one of my favorite couples of all time Michelle and John. The wedding was conceived and executed with warmth, intimacy and nostalgia. Michelle wore John’s grandmother’s wedding dress from the 1930′s that John’s mother also wore in the 1970′s. Then to put a modern twist on things Michelle changed into a very contemporary dress for the intimate dinner party. Orchestrating everything behind the scenes with the hand of a maestro was wedding planner Kristen Samz of A Current Affair Weddings and Events . Helping me capture the breath taking moments moving past our eyes was my dear friend and world class photographer Joyce Keum of Studio JK . Beaver Creek Chapel & Beaver Creek Lodge Winter Wedding

We started off 2010 with a winter wonderland wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Our couple, Hillary and David came up from Oklahoma with a supportive contingency of family and friends. Hillary started off her day with a four mile run accompanied by her mother and two sisters. It was fun photographing her in a wedding veil jogging in the snow. They had a beautiful religious ceremony in the picturesque Beaver Creek Chapel with their pastor from Oklahoma officiating the service. Their reception was held at The Beaver Creek Lodge using both the Art Gallery and Rocks Modern Grill. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day. Tara and John wed at Black Canyon Inn, Estes Park

Tara and John came to Colorado from Northern California for an amazing wedding at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park. This mellow couple planned a very special day which included an authentic Native American Indian wedding ceremony followed by a reception with the psychedelic electro-trance-fusion music of Yamn. The lights this band brought created some fantastic dance images. It was quite the wedding day and evening party! I’m honored I got to photograph it. Jessica and Justin Wedding at Pelican Lakes

Jessica and Justin got married June 20th at Pelican Lakes in Windsor, Colorado. Even though there were some rain showers Jessica and Justin were smiling and laughing through the day. It was a beautiful ceremony on the Island at Pelican Lakes and a fun reception at the Clubhouse. Here are some of my choice pictures of the day. Carolyn and Ethan’s Park, Picnic and Games Wedding

What a wedding Carolyn and Ethan had in a North Boulder Community Park. They first hiked up the foothills from their nearby home with their immediate families for a family circle of thanksgiving and prayer. Then they came down the small mountain to commit themselves to each other in front of a larger gathering of family and friends. Even though the weather tried to threaten things there ultimately was a picnic and games for everyone of all ages to participate in. I had photographed Carolyn and Ethan’s engagement several months prior in the same location as their wedding day activities took place. Here are some of my favorites pictures of the day. Megan & Jr’s Wedding on Beaver Creek

I can’t express how much joy I had in photographing Megan and JR’s wedding at Beaver Creek Lodge in Beaver Creek. Megan and JR came from Dallas to have a Colorado wedding. The beauty and simplicity of the day coupled with the love and energy these two have for each other was an honor to document. Cordillera Wedding for Nicole and Craig

For the second time this season we photographed an amazing wedding in Cordillera Resort outside Edwards, Colorado. This time it was for Nicole and Craig who brought in family and friends from across the country to celebrate with them. Nicole and Craig were a glamorous and wonderful couple to work with. Helping coordinate the day was Vail Valley’s top wedding coordinator, Carolyn Moorman. along with her assistant Kay. Here are some of my favorite pics of the day.
