Rocky Mountain National Park & Della Terra Mountain Chateau Wedding

Wow! What an adventuresome couple in Rachael and Ethan who decide to brave the elements and romp in Rocky Mountain National Park before their outdoor wedding in winter conditions at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. Both Rachel and Ethan have their season passes to RMNP so they felt they wanted to incorporate a trip to the park on their wedding day. Fortunately, I’m one of only a handful of professional photographers who is credentialed to photograph in the national park, so things worked out well.

The staff at Della Terra once again rose to the occasion and made everyone feel comfortable in the outdoor ceremony setting by providing blankets to those who needed them. The flower girls thought it was all fun. After the ceremony, the indoor coziness of the chateau made for an enjoyable evening for all.

Wild Basin Lodge Wedding, Allenspark, Colorado

Towards the end of last season we photographed a beautiful autumn wedding at Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, Colorado for Kristin and Matt. The autumn colors made for some lushly colored images. Here are some spreads from the custom designed album we created for Kristin and Matt.

St Malo’s Chapel and The Stanley Hotel Wedding, Estes Park, Colorado

It is argued by some people in the Colorado wedding industry that there is no better venue combo for a wedding than St Malo’s Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark, Colorado for the ceremony and The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado for the reception. That combo is exactly what Emily and Nick selected for their fairytale wedding this past September. It actually rained most of the day and even snowed before the ceremony but Emily and Nick’s spirits were sky high all day. We so loved photographing this beautiful couple against the backdrop of the enchanting venues they strolled through, past and around. Here is our in-house custom designed album of the day.

Della Terra Mountain Chateau Wedding, Estes Park, Colorado

This past summer we photographed three weddings at the new Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado. This is an amazing new venue with a wonderful staff helping couples create wedding fantasies. We especially enjoyed photographing Karine and James Wedding. Tara and John wed at Black Canyon Inn, Estes Park

Tara and John came to Colorado from Northern California for an amazing wedding at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park. This mellow couple planned a very special day which included an authentic Native American Indian wedding ceremony followed by a reception with the psychedelic electro-trance-fusion music of Yamn. The lights this band brought created some fantastic dance images. It was quite the wedding day and evening party! I’m honored I got to photograph it.
