My Photo featured as Photo of the Month -Wedding Photography Directory

I was very surprised to be contacted a few months back by an organization of wedding photographers that I do not belong to (Wedding Photography Directory) saying they wanted to feature an image of mine that came to their attention as their wedding Photo of the Month. This organization has some of the top wedding photographers in the world and I’m extremely flattered that they went outside of their group to honor me.

The image shown here has won an International 1st place Award with another organization and has been commented on by other photographers and clients.

2010 Bride’s Choice Awards – my 2nd year in a row

It’s wonderful getting notified of awards especially this one that brides vote on. This is the 2nd year in a row I have received this prestigious award.

Beaver Creek Chapel & Beaver Creek Lodge Winter Wedding

We started off 2010 with a winter wonderland wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Our couple, Hillary and David came up from Oklahoma with a supportive contingency of family and friends. Hillary started off her day with a four mile run accompanied by her mother and two sisters. It was fun photographing her in a wedding veil jogging in the snow. They had a beautiful religious ceremony in the picturesque Beaver Creek Chapel with their pastor from Oklahoma officiating the service. Their reception was held at The Beaver Creek Lodge using both the Art Gallery and Rocks Modern Grill. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day. Denver Aquarium Tropical Fish & Jellyfish

The Chateau at Fox Meadows Holiday Wedding for Alaina and Justin

We did a fun holiday wedding at The Chateau at Fox Meadows in Broomfield for Alaina and Justin, a gorgeous fun couple. Here are some of the pages from their wedding album.

We custom design all our albums in-house and work hard to keep the designs clean and timeless. You won’t see us making an album look like a scrapbook or using all kinds of quickly dated gimmickry designs or putting pictures on top of pictures etc. We want our clients to open their albums years from now and see the beautiful pictures of their day and not some design treatment that detracts from the integrity of their images.

Flagstaff Mountain Wedding Engagement Shoot

I recently photographed an engagement session for Deanna and Gavin, who are planning a wedding in Denver next Summer at The Immaculate Conception Cathedral and The Brown Palace. To offset the urban locale of their wedding they wanted to do something in nature for their engagement shoot. We tripped it up to Flagstaff Mountain outside of Boulder and had some fun in the snow as well as hiking around. Here are some of my favorite pics from the shoot.

Grammy Nominated LMFAO – Denver Concert

LMFAO, a Party Rock band from LA with Interscope Records was recently nominated for a 2010 Grammy in the Electronic Dance Music category. The front man of this act is a young man I’ve known since he was a child. His stage name is Red Foo, his real name is Stefan and his mother and I have been friends for years.

It’s such a challenge to establish one’s self in the music and entertainment world today. I was able to catch up with everyone in LMFAO when they recently played in Denver. They put on a great show but I had to take a pass on the after-party due to an early morning commitment. Here are some pics from their Party Rock concert.

St Malo’s Chapel and The Stanley Hotel Wedding, Estes Park, Colorado

It is argued by some people in the Colorado wedding industry that there is no better venue combo for a wedding than St Malo’s Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark, Colorado for the ceremony and The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado for the reception. That combo is exactly what Emily and Nick selected for their fairytale wedding this past September. It actually rained most of the day and even snowed before the ceremony but Emily and Nick’s spirits were sky high all day. We so loved photographing this beautiful couple against the backdrop of the enchanting venues they strolled through, past and around. Here is our in-house custom designed album of the day.

Della Terra Mountain Chateau Wedding, Estes Park, Colorado

Blackstone Country Club , Aurora, Colorado Wedding
